03-30-04 (10:55pm) coach T had his spring preview today. the official site has all the pertinent details here.

now for some random thoughts about spring ball. camp opens thursday the first, no foolin'. 4 new faces will be making their buckeye debuts thursday. true freshmen marcus freeman, antonio pittman, aj trapasso, and steve rehrig. todd boeckman takes off the gray shirt and becomes a full scholarship guy too. whenever new guys join the team there is always speculation as to which ones are instant impact type of guys. i don't believe that many if any true freshmen are instant imact type of guys though i expect some contribution form this group of four. aj trapasso has a damn good chance at winning the starting punter job if he can have a good spring and fall camp. marcus freeman is facing a stacked deck at linebacker but he has the talent to be able to cover kicks at least and could contribute there and maybe get some garbage time at linebacker. pittman along with erik haw will be battling it out to be the backup to maurice hall, lydell ross, and ira guilford. they may even push for the job alltogether, who knows. pittman has the distinct advantage of participating in spring camp but i don't think it will be enough to distance himself from haw. i have seen both of these guys play myself and haw simply blew me away while pittman seemed like a solid prospect but not an instant impact type of guy. pittman was coming off an injury when i saw him but i still didn't see the size to contribute right away. i believe he will need a year or two in a college weight program before getting his chance to be the big man on campus. last of the new recruits is steve rehrig. while quality offensive linemen are always in demand very few true freshmen have what it takes to avoid the red shirt let alone contribute as true freshmen. i see rehrig getting a red shirt in 2004.

there was some word on open practice sessions. the buckeyes will open things up to the public on the 15th (kick scrimmage), the 17th (jersey scrimmage), and of course the 24th for the annual spring game. me and the cbg will be there for the jersey scrimmage and the spring game for sure. i can't imagine i will be able to make it thursday the 15th unless we have some sort of major industrial accident closing down the plant and offices. hmmm.

there really wasn't any news coming out of this other than confirming that very few of the dates will be open to the public. if you are jonesing for more buckeye info the pay sites have posted free stories today (you know where they are and i doubt they need or want me plugging them [though i am sure mr bucknuts is wanting me to plug him although not in the form of a link...]).

big day for the vg site today my friends. i have always enjoyed posting my film on the net and i have been very pleased finding another guy, osubux11, to join the cause in getting as much film out there for the buckeye nation for free as is possible. i have also always had a standing offer to help out any school get their film on the net. well today i received my first out of state recruiting tape. in the mail today i got a package with a tape chock full of highlights of VA super recruit darrieus ramsey. ramsey is a defensive back / tailback / athlete type of player that could contribute in any manner of ways in the college. i haven't had much of a chance yet tonight to watch the tape let alone get off my ass and start posting some film on the net free for all to enjoy but that is coming trust me. i am going to back burner my video archive until i get done with this tape first. i figure that once i finish the ramsey tape it will require little if any maintenance and it will reside in its own archive with its own 15 minute cap of video. when i am done with that i can go back to rotating my film to stay under the 15 minute cap (as well as getting started on the new recruiting dvd...). anyways back to ramsey. it sounds like we may be in an uphill battle for his services with teams like florida state and maryland having the early lead. who knows how his recruitment will play out honestly, it isn't like i am a distant relative to miss cleo and all that. what i do know is that the buckeye nation will get a free look at this player up close and personal. worst case scenario we see some entertaining highlights and see what we are missing out on. best case scenario we see the future of buckeye football in action as an underclassmen. personally i can't wait to get started on this. i need to rewire my entertainment center slightly before i get started (i need to either move the vcr closer to the computer or get some long ass red - white - yellow cables) but i am going to work on that after work wednesday first thing.

anyways that is all i have for tonight. i am going to watch some of the howard stern show and try and get some more sleep before i go in and make the donuts in the morning. enjoy.
03-28-04 (8:35pm) another night with virtually no update. spring ball is around the corner though and i will have the best coverage i can for a guy not in columbus and who hopes to attend 3 or 4 sessions max (coaching staff permitting). until then i hope to entertain with some film. i am going to rotate off some more film from my archive and upload some film from canton mckinley the past couple of seasons. you know the routine. if you want to save all the film i would do it now because you don't know when or if ever i will rotate the film back in the archive. i only get 15 minutes of film in there storage so i need to mix it up from to time. speaking of the 15 minute limit, osubux11's archive is nearly full as well. he has some really great film in there right now and he too will be rotating it off within the next week or two so grab his film while you can.

in a new development for the site, it looks like this site will get its grubby hands on its first film from an out of state recruit. no hints or anything on to the recruit or the state of the recruit right now but i should be getting the film early this week and idealy posting the film by the weekend. keep them fingers crossed.

i had a good weekend. i had a seminar saturday morning for work but i was off for the rest of the weekend. i played in two small texas hold em tournaments winning one and losing the other. i returned just over 200 percent of my entry fees so it was a good weekend with the cards. i was the big chip leader the second tournament after the first two hours but then it all went down hill. the cards dried up big time and i couldn't bluff a pot for the life of me. oh well. i can't play any poker next weekend but after that i have two more tournaments lined up for easter weekend. no better way to spend a religious holiday than gambling i always say.

anyways i just wanted to basically let everyone know that a bunch of film will be getting rotated off both my and osubux11's sony imagestation archives so grab them while you can. enjoy the sopranos and deadwood on hbo tonight if you get/steal it. more after work monday (think spring ball). enjoy.
03-25-04 (5pm) virtually no update at all tonight as i am partying with the cbg instead of hanging around on the computer. in fact i wasn't going to update at all today (it has been a rough week at work the last week and i am saving up for spring ball kind of...) but i got some great news to pass along in the form of a sweet ass link. most readers of the site are familiar with my recruiting film and what me and the cbg do to go out and get highlights of some of the best football players in the state of ohio. well now there is another.

i met up with this guy (he posts as osubux11) over on the buckeye planet message boards (link in top portion of the page on left; it is quickly becoming my home board). anyways he kept posting pic after pic of recruits and you could just tell they were his own pics that he took. then i noticed that his pics had video interlacing in them so i knew it came from video. i asked him if that was the case and he said it was. i then asked him if he would like to share his film on the net and he has taken the ball and started running, he is posting film already. he is only at the tip of the iceberg right now so check back often. so far he has film on akron garfield's chris wells amongst a few other top shelf recruits. anyways enough talk and time for some linkage. here is his sony imagestation account. it works just like mine so if you have problems just check out the faq in the video section in the upper left corner of this page. osubux11's link will be up there too from now on so if you want to stop back just look up there. now get the hell off my site and go watch some freshly posted film. me, i am going to get my drink on here soon and probably play some deathmatch on the xbox with the cbg, enjoy.

i run this site for entertainment purposes only and i do have quite a good time doing it. i am also quite lenient with my intellectual property rights. generally any NONPROFIT SITE that wants to use some of my pictures i allow to use them as long as they ask first and then credit the site for our hard work and generosity.

as for corporate for profit sites though this is a different matter entirely. everyone knows that i hate insiders.com and bucknuts and their staff in particular. no mystery there. unfortunately it is not those rat bastards that have stolen my image(s) so this isn't quite as pleasurable as it would be otherwise. oh well. the THIEVING BASTARDS in this case is rivals.com, specifically the pitt panthers site on rivals.com.

not only is pitt a joke of a team they have a joke of a website too. before i get into that and present my evidence a little story on pitt football.

i was in law school in the mid 90's and it was a wild crowd. that is where i met the irish patent attorney (who i will have business to discuss with tomorrow pantherlair.com) and tons of other college football fans from around the country. one guy we knew and hung out with was a pitt alum and a big pitt supporter. anyways the buckeyes played pitt 2 years in a row back then and we really whipped up on them. being bored me and my friends liked to gamble on college sports. no money ever changed hands just beer of choice or the occasional stromboli. small time gambling for sure. probably the biggest loss was your pride as some of these bets were tough to live down (more on that later). so anyways the bucks were favored to beat pitt by something around 30 or 35 points one year and this dude wouldn't touch the action since he knew what a joke pitt athletics really were/are. i punked him out in front of several classmates and finally got him to take pitt plus 50 (and me winning any potential ties). well the bucks won something like 72 - 0 since PITT IS A JOKE OF A PROGRAM. i won something like a 12 pack of guinness and all was good. i knew it was easy money since pitt sucked ass (much like their rivals.com website sucks ass).

so anyways i am sitting in the friendly confines tonight watching some hoops on the tube and surfing the net (and not for buckeye info or porn either if you can believe it). so there i am having as good a time as a man can have with his pants on when i got the message from an old friend that happens to be a rivals.com subscriber and a fan of my crappy website. he was reading a rivals.com article on bsb (that originally came from pantherlair and had nothing to do with the good people at the BSB i might add) and he thought he recognized a picture. the article was about curtis smith and the picture was one my brother, the crazy bearded guy of south stands fame, took in 2002. the picture is the one on the left of this post. knowing what a pain in the ass i like to be to the pay sites me boy contacted me and pointed out their blatant theft.

now i am not some bitch that will sit idly by and let some corporate bastards that run a half assed site just steal from me and get away with it so i knew i had to do something. what i don't know though honestly. my best friend is an intellectual property attorney fortunately for me and we will be talking about an appropriate course of action friday i would imagine. for tonight i just want to document my evidence for the website and crash out as i get ready to get some sleep for work early in the morning. normally i would never post their material like this out of respect for their intellectual property rights but i need to document my evidence before they simply change their webpage hence the screen cap. anyways that pic on the left of this post is a collage of pics my brother took (he shoots stills while i shoot the film). below this paragraph is my evidence of theft. it is a screen capture from late night thursday march 17th 2004 that shows pantherlair.com infringing on my intellectual property rights. notice that their pic of glenville's curtis smith is simply a cropped down and reduced in size image from the collage on the left of this post.


apparently Harry G. Psaros thinks i am some sort of bitch that he can just steal from without any consequences. feel the impending legal heat bitch.

anyways i just wanted to point out the theft and document the case a little on the website before crashing for the night. i did start talking about gambling in law school though and it reminded me of one of my worst gambling beats of all time. i didn't lose any money but i lost lots of pride to the irish patent atorney on that bet. it was a funny story though so i might as well tell it here.

so like i said we liked to gamble on sports. no money bets, just stromboli and beer. hell we even bet on video games to spice up the action (in particular 4 player sega hockey; this was preplaystation1). well you can only drink so much beer and eat so much stromboli. if you got on a hot streak gambling all the wins didn't mean as much because you already had a fridge full of guinness stout or bass ale and were owed dozens of strombolis. we needed to spice up the action a little but didn't want to start gambling for money. that is when it hit me, we needed to bet for pride or better yet humiliation.

it was NCAA hoops tourney time and the irish patent attorney was convinced that grant hill and duke would just beat up on purdue and the big dog glenn robinson. it was ACC pride versus big10 pride and i had to take the bet. i really did think that the big dog would just mark duke as his property that night so to speak. i could see him lifting the leg and all. anyways we had the bet in place but we needed the stakes. we wanted some more action than the standard winners choice of beer and a large ass stromboli so we thought about it when i came up with the idea.

this was about the same time that zima released their hellish product on america. no heterosexual man would be caught alive drinking that crap, it had a bad reputation and a worse taste (so i heard). i told the IPA (irish patent attorney) that this would be the bet. the loser would have to go to 'the bar' where our entire law school hung out. the loser would have to do it during peak hours with as many people there as we knew. the loser would have to go to the bar and purchase a bottle of zima from the bar with his own money. the loser would then have to drink the entire zima in the bar and not conceal it or just chug it right away. the loser had to milk out the zima. he had to approach every single person from our law school and start up a conversation with them while proudly drinking the zima. every person got an individual conversation with the loser drinking zima. if they would ask why the hell are we drinking zima all we could say was stuff like 'i like zima, it is really good' or crap like that. if you said anything about the bet or anything bad about zima you had to buy another one and start all over again.

so anyways duke just beat the crap out of purdue and i had to pay up. the next time me and the IPA hit the bar i bought the damn zima and drank it really slowly and talked to about 50 or 60 people in the process. every single one of them asked why the hell was i drinking a zima. it sucked but i did what i had to do to pay off the humiliation bet and it was over, or at least i thought. after i finished paying off the debt i was free to talk about our bet and i tried to reclaim my manhood by explaining my drinking of a zima. everyone thought the bet was pretty funny but no one let me down from the zima. i earned the nickname of zima boy for a few weeks and that was tough to deal with for a bass ale man. oh well.

anyways that is the zima story and the thieving bastards at pantherlair.com stories. i will have more on the pantherlair situation later this weekend or early next week for sure. i doubt that i ask for any monetary damages in settlement talks but i do want a front page of pantherlair.com apology for the theiving of my property for sure, maybe more. hell, maybe the IPA will talk me into seeking some sort of reimbursement from rivals or lifetime subscriptions for the both of us for free. who knows. anyways more later frideay or this weekend. enjoy.
03-17-04 (10:40pm) just a real quick video update for tonight. tonight i posted 5 clips of erik haw from the playoffs last year against louisville. i think there are two long touchdowns, a pass reception, and two inside type runs. just the normal haw highlights, showing a little bit of everything. the second touchdown is one that all buckeye fans will like. all of us have seen the tailback just slam into the pile that is the line of scrimmage and then get wrapped up and go down. well erik haw pulled off a move that i hope to see many times in the future. he slams into the pile, is stood up, says screw this spins off the pile and up the sideline with top shelf speed for the score. that clip is e-haw2.mpg. i highly recommend checking it out (as well as the other 10 or so haw highlights there).

i think that puts me against my video cap again so before i upload any more clips i will have to delete some more of the old. i will give everyone a week or so before deleting anything so you have some time to download them to your hard drive if you want to save these for yourself. as for me, i am going to enjoy the rest of the new episode of chappelle's show and drink some more wine. two weeks to spring ball bitches, be ready.
03-14-04 (1:15am) virtually no update tonight. i got stuck at work for way too damn long today (and yesterday, and....) and i just now woke up and i am going to watch the sopranos, curb your enthusiasm, and super troopers on the tivo as i try to get back to sleep for yet another glorious work day. anyways time for a quick video update. i have a bunch of video ready to post and i have been sitting on it for a week. why sit? well because i had to delete some other video files in the archive before i could upload anymore. the videos i uploaded tonight are antonio pittman clips. the game i saw akron buchtel play last year was early in the season and antonio was coming off of an injury and the game i saw was shortened by rain. i even had to pack away the camcorder from time to time before the game was cancelled due to the weather. even worse than all that the rubber bowl in akron has some of the most annoying posts that obstruct the view from virtually any of the good seats. oh well, not my best filming performance for sure but at least i was able to cap four highlights of pittman running the ball. nothing spectacular here but it is approximately a minute of free film for the download. sure i could post the link here but it is late and i imagine anyone that can find this site can find the link to the film on the site (if not think upper left). i had a little extra room after deleting files so i did post one more clip tonight. it is cleveland st ignatius quarterback to be rudy kirbus. just one highlight and again it is nothing fancy either. a simple pass play from a scrimmage against glenoak last year. i did have to delete some film to make room for the new clips like i said. i deleted a non-highlight of jamario o'neal and ted ginn, all of my chad hoobler footage, a curtis smith clip, and some more that i can't even remember. again i am up to my limit for film in the archive so more videos will be fading away soon to keep the site fresh. for now enjoy the antonio pittman and rudy kirbus clips and be waiting for some more erik haw film this week some time. enjoy.
03-11-04 (12:45am) one final warning to all those out there that enjoy the recruiting film. i have a bunch of videos ready to post and nowhere to post them until i delete some of the clips in the archive. i am going to keep up all current buckeyes for now so guys that are just prospects for 2005 will be probably getting their film taken down until we get into the 2004 season or there is news about them getting an offer or whatnot. like i said, you were warned.

now it is time.

before i get too far into this let me recap the life that is vg. i went up to the michigan game again this year. me and the cbg stayed in toledo with doctor doug and his old lady (doctor old lady who is quite young actually but i digress). we got stuck in traffic, ditched the car in a town not named ann arbor (along with our cooler of beer!), and walked several miles to get into the game. of course the buckeyes lost and so was the weekend. we drove back to toledo that night and that is where it happened. i can't remember all what we did to drink our sorrows away that night but we had a good time out at a couple of toledo bars and the outback steakhouse. anyways we were really drunk and we made it back to doctor doug's place to crash for the night before me and the cbg had to head back to our corner of ohio.

the cbg crashed in a guest room at doctor doug's. me, i slept on the couch in the living room. now it wasn't any normal living room, it is damn near a zoo. they got a couple of dogs and a couple of cats. a fish tank that is probably ten foot long with tons of fish in it all different sizes and types. they also have two birds. one bird even talks and can start up an O-H and wait for you to respong I - O before it goes OH again. it is pretty cool if you like animals for sure. anyways there is my drunk ass passed out on the couch in the zoo sleeping off the crushing loss and dangerous amounts of alcohol when it happened. i was sound asleep when i was awoken with some hot tongue kiss action. it was like three am at the time so i wasn't quite all there. it turns out that it wasn't a hot chick but their giant dog just licking the inside of my mouth like it was a toilet bowl or something. fortunately i didn't get busted by any people since i had the living room to myself. i pushed the dog off me and rolled over to cover up my mouth. i fell back asleep and all was good (other than the michigan loss of course). i got probably another 4 or 5 hours of sleep when it happened again. i must have rolled back over and exposed the mouth and the dog just couldn't resist, again it was just licking the inside of my mouth. crazy shit. this time i wasn't as lucky though as i had a full audience. doctor doug and his old lady and the cbg were all up and waiting for me to wake up so we could go out to breakfast. so not only did we lose to michigan that weekend but i basically made out with an actual dog twice. life sucks ass sometimes.

so that is the background story that is my life. i told that story on the website after it happened and all the guys at my job loved the story. at least i got some laughs out of it i figured. ideally i never experience another loss to michigan or have 'sexual relations' (clinton's term not mine) with a real life canine dog again. i use the adjective canine here so i don't lump the dog in with everyday human female bitches.

i have been playing texas hold'em tournaments once or twice a week lately. one of the tournaments is at my cousin's house. they got a nice set up for poker. they have the felt poker table with the padded rail and the real vegas style clay chips. nice to have a touch of class to my weekly gambling excursion. well class and me apparently have no place in the same room. i didn't do anything inappropriate at all or say anything bad either. i even stay relatively sober when i play poker (one of the regulars is a cop so i only drink maybe two or three beers over the four or five hour tournament out of respect and for safety too). anyways it was great outside that sunday a couple of weekends ago, so nice that i sat out on my upstairs deck in my shorts and a tank top and had a really good time just being outside for a change before the poker game. it was getting late in the afternoon though and poker was starting at 5. i didn't feel like changing out of my shiny gray buckeye shorts and tank top so i just picked up some brews at the local ghetto store and drove over to the poker game dressed as is.

poker was not going good for me that night. i ended up losing my entire entry fee into the tournament and probably finished around the middle of the pack, maybe slightly lower than that. it turns out that just losing all my chips was the highlight of my night though.

my cousin and her husband have a really big dog. it is a mastiff and it was weighing in at nearly 170 pounds at the vet just that week. so the vet told my cousin that their dog could stand to lose a few pounds. they have been trimming back on the amount of dog food that kacey gets in her dish every day. kacey is gigantic though and not very happy about being put on a diet, like any women on a diet i guess. she eats all of her food and then starts pushing the dog dish around and basically banging it into shit trying to send the message that she isn't being fed enough, but that is vet's orders so the dog goes slightly hungry until she loses a few pounds.

so there we were all playing poker and having a good time. kacey was down in the poker room with us and generally hanging out under the poker table begging for snacks from people. since it was sunday my cousin decided that the dog deserved a cheat day on her diet and several people were feeding the dog under the table from time to time. anyways i am sitting there in my shiny silver buckeye shorts and tank top getting my nuts beat in playing poker. i thought it was a low point for the day but it got much lower.

i had another crappy hand (something like 9 - 3 off suited) and was itching for some action when it happened. kacey the dog rested her chin on my knee and was staring up at me begging for some food. i didn't have any food so i couldn't help the dog out any so i scratched the dog's head on the top between the ears and went back to my crappy cards. i lost that hand and the dog was still there chin on my knee giving me those sad dog eyes. i got some more crappy cards and the dog's chin was still there. i start to play my hand and kacey decides to make a move.

from out of nowhere the dog starts to lick my nuts. no lie. sure it was over the flimsy shiny silver shorts but it was nut licking all the same. before i looked down my mind raced to the image of mr bucknuts finally getting his tongue on my nuts like i suspect he has been fantasizing about for a few years now but i knew he wasn't in my part of the state, we don't like his kind up here. kacey had moved on from begging for food and decided to try and earn her snacks by giving me some oral pleasure. now kacey is a big dog with a big mouth and a big tongue. you just can't push her away forcefully when she has her teeth that close to your manhood. so her giant tongue is actually cupping my nuts and getting them to move. sure it sounds pleasant but it isn't. not only do you have a crowd of people watching you be serviced by a dog but it is a freaking dog. i slowly eased my chair back and pushed kacey off of me and freed my testicles from the dog. then the laughter started and it hasn't stopped for nearly two weeks now. my only saving grace from the situation is that kacey is a chick dog and not a dude dog. having sexual relations with a dog is bad enough, i don't know if i could handle having gay sexual relations with a dog.

so basically ever since then i have been telling this story at work and getting good responses from it. i have earned some nicknames and whatnot but it is all in fun, hell i wouldn't tell the story so willingly or often if i had a problem with it. it has definitely lightened the mood at work.

so that was two weekends ago. i played poker again at my cousin's this weekend and again kacey the dog was there. as i started walking up to their front porch i heard kacey barking away. she usually does that, no big deal. kacey is about the friendliest dog (you know with the oral and all that) normally though. i got inside and kacey just started freaking out, barking at me and shit. my cousin actually had to hold the dog back from coming after me for the first ten minutes or so i was there. it was strange. i told the dog i was sorry i didn't call her the day after she serviced me but she wasn't buying my apology. she just kept barking at me. bitches.

anyways that is what has been going on lately. i just reread the story and i am not particularly happy with how i wrote it, but it is late and the story is getting stale for me so i am going to go with the first draft and let it roll for now. i hope everyone enjoys my soap operaesque relationship with kacey the dog and i hope you all download some of the film i posted for free. much of it is going to disappear here this weekend as i post some antonio pittman (i have never posted any of his film yet) and some more erik haw (i have lots of him but you got to see this one run of his in the playoffs). i still have film on ignatius recruits rudy kirbus and jim ramella to post. i got film on warren harding's rocco cironi too (as well as mario manningham but that ain't seeing the net ever, much like my fred davis film from last season). i also have a bunch of film on a trio of canton mckinley guys in ryan brinson, antwon hight, and brad jones. i probably got more tape too that i can't think about right now with more recruits in action. damn i just thought of one. i got one of dover qb to be dan ifft jr. ifft will probably put up some obscene numbers the next three years (he was a freshman receiver last year while he waited to win the qb job from the senior qb). i know art's nephew miles and ignatius' rudy kirbus are getting the headlines as the next great ohio qb but watch out for ifft, he has fantastic size and athleticism for a freshman and if the reports i hear about his arm are true he should put up near 10,000 yards passing in ohio high school football before he is done. anyways, i need to crash out and get ready to make the donuts in the morning. enjoy.
03-07-04 (1pm) not much going on in the buckeye nation today so i have very little to update. it has been a good weekend so far and i still got something like 15 or 16 hours left to enjoy. i did try to update the video archive today but it wasn't happening. i have reached my 15 minutes of video that i am allowed cap. basically i need to delete some of the old videos to make room for any new videos. unfortunately i have already trimmed every video from the archive that didn't sign in february or isn't a prospect for next february. i really don't want to go and delete any of them posted in there as of right now. too many fans haven't had the opportunity to see the last class yet alone start worrying about the possibilities for 2005. eventually all the 2004 signees will disappear but i am going to drag my feet on this one. hell i haven't even posted any film of antonio pittman yet and he is going to be on campus for spring ball in a matter of days. i also have unused film on current commit erik haw (a playoff game this time, one of the runs is jaw dropping), rocco cironi, ryan brinson, antwon hight, brad jones, jim ramella, and probably a few more recruits that i forgot that i saw. film that i have that i won't be posting includes my fred davis film and my mario manningham film. screw them bastards. anyways you are on notice, at some point in the future (as in this month before spring ball kicks off and i actually have something to talk about) many of the older videos are going to fade away just like the donte whitner, louis irizarry, devon jordan, curt lukens and all the other commits from 2003 have before them. if you want to save them to your hard drive now would be a good time to do so.

since i will not be posting film for probably at least another week now to give everyone a chance to download what is there, i will need something else to do with the site for next week. i have been holding off on 'the story' for slightly over a week now, constantly refining it as i repeat it at work over and over again. i think i have it pretty much all fleshed out how i want to tell it now i just need to sit down and write it. ideally that will hit by midweek. who knows. anyways download all the film you want while you can, the price is right afterall. enjoy.
03-04-04 (12:15am) virtually no update at all tonight but i do have something to pass along. i watched a tape of canton glenoak versus cleveland st ignatius just a few hours ago and i pulled off a few clips for the net and posted them in the video archive. brian hartline is the big name at glenoak this year recruiting wise (though that number 6, i think it is de harrold fannin, looked awesome coming off of the edge). hartline is widely considered to be one of the top receivers in the state (along with mario manningham, greg orton, and brian robiskie). when i saw glenoak last year it was before the season started and was a scrimmage. hartline was playing qb back then so i don't have any clips of him catching the ball. all the highlights i have are of him at qb (he is number 12 in green). anyways i tried to pull some clips of him that showed off some athleticism. as a disclaimer here i wasn't trying to film hartline at all. my main focus when he was at qb was getting clips of mike massey (who now is at michigan). oh well, i did get some hartline clips though and they are in the video archive and of course they are all free for the buckeye nation to enjoy.

this new computer is still treating really well. it is so nice to be able to do all my video work at home instead of trying to get into the cbg's audio studio and using it for my video work. i still need to hook up with the cbg and reaquire all my software off of his computer but things are going good here. the set up i have now basically is fast enough to encode everything in real time so i don't have to do much at all other than watch the film and press record and stop. i would like to get back to my previous editing standards but i don't have the software as of right now to do it. anyways things are going really good around here lately and hopefully it will show up on the website.

as for the hartline clips none of them are great. brian_hartlineQB4 is probably the best video clip of the bunch. i proclaim him to be dead and then he jukes mike massey and then the whistle is blown. it was a scrimmage afterall so there wasn't much hitting on the qb's. anyways check out the film if you want to get a real brief look at him.

i have put 25 new film clips in the archive the past week and i imagine i can keep up this pace for another few weeks, maybe a month no problem. my only problem is that the good people at sony imagestation only allow me to post 15 minutes of film in the archive. i am not sure how close i am to the limit honestly but i bet i have less than 5 minutes left for sure. there are nearly 70 video clips there now and i don't think i have ever crammed in more than maybe 85 or so. anyways the more film i post the more old shit needs to disappear. feel free to download the clips and save them to your hard drive if you want to have access to them in the future because you never know when i will have to rotate the videos. at one point i had film on every single recruit from the 2003 recruiting class in there except two (and they weren't from ohio). now i think you can see a little dareus hiley and that is it from that class, and he is only still in there because he is on the same highlights as ted ginn jr. anyways i need to grab me some sleep before i go and make the donuts in the morning. more sometime thursday night for sure.
03-03-04 (12:40am) you would think that my ass would be asleep by now since i need to be up in four and a half hours. since i am up you would think i got something good to say. well i do but not quite yet am i ready to bust out 'the story' from poker last weekend. instead i spent the night watching season one of the dave chappelle show on comedy central on the dvd box set. dave is easily the funniest working comedian around and is must see tv for sure. if you haven't seen the show and have a good sense of humor and an open mind about off color jokes definitely go out and invest the 20 bucks in the dvd set, it is well worth the cash. while i was watching the chappelle show i was going over a big box of camcorder tapes that weren't labeled. i sorted through all the tapes and now i know what is what. the last tape i put in was my cleveland glenville 2003 tape so i decided to watch it and see what i can cap off. i have already posted highlights of ted ginn, freddie lenix, and curtis smith on the net but one big glenville recruit i missed was osu's curtis terry. i have to admit i never heard of curtis when i saw glenville this year so i wasn't really focusing on him at all. still though i was able to pull two clips of curtis terry from the tape and post them on the net. they are in the archive as i type. notice i didn't call them highlights. one was curtis rushing the passer and getting held and the other one is him rushing the passer and not getting there in time but he did force an early pass. pretty weak highlights honestly. at least the price is right. you can get a look at curtis though and see what type of size he really is and perhaps some measure of his speed off of the corner. just so you can ID him in the film he is number 99.

i don't know which tape i am going to go over next. i was thinking about posting some brian hartline highlights but that game was only a scrimmage and it didn't have announcers or uniform numbers (though it was against st ignatius). i will get to that tape but probably not right away. the tape(s) that jumped out at me were the canton mckinley tapes. i have them playing ignatius in 2003 and warren harding in 2002. mckinley features three fairly big time recruits in ryan brinson, antwon hight, and brad jones. i honestly don't remember what number jones or hight wore though so it could get interesting. i may have to watch these tapes more than once to get a grasp on what i am looking for. i did know who they were when i was filming them fortunately so i should have any highlights of theres on tape for sure. anyways, i will work on that tape probably later this week and ideally they will be hitting the net before the weekend. as for me, i think i am going to watch my 2002 osu - michigan dvd and crash out for the night before i got to get up and go make the donuts in the morning. more sometime wednesday ideally.
daaaamn look at them titties. 03-01-04 (11:35pm) not much of an update tonight. i did locate my 2002 dayton c-j tape and cap off a few clips. i don't have many clips from this game since all the starters were benched midway through the second quarter as c-j was rolling 50 something to nothing. it was a hell of a drive all the way out to dayton to see that game but fortunately i did hit the 50 - 50 raffle at halftime and i just bolted with my winnings and a few highlights after that. anyways tonight i have posted four additional clips of javon ringer and two more clips of brandon harrison. these are sophomore year footage and the competition is as weak as it comes in this game. it was some canadian school and they were probably just playing to stay in shape for hockey season. anyways the vids are in the archive as i speak and i imagine readers of this site aren't some sort of dumbass so i will let you find the link for yourself. if you are new to the site, just read some more, i posted directions to the vids in a previous update within the last day or two.

i watched one of the weakest episodes of fear factor ever tonight. me and the cbg were pumped as it was an all female fear factor which is like twice the normal boobage. the chicks weren't up to the couples champion monica and her magnificent titty standard and they all kind of sucked at the game too. oh well, at least i have the couples championship episode on my hard drive recorder. speaking of that the shot on the left is the lovely monica and her big ass tittays.

anyways like i said i don't have much of an update tonight but i have a great update coming in the next few days. this weekend i probably experienced one of the funniest things in my life at the poker tournament sunday. i don't have time to get into it now but a quick hint for long time readers of the site or those able to search the archives. this is the much unexpected sequal to my unfortunate post michigan 2003 make out session. i tested out this story at work today and it is looking like an instant classic. anyways enough teasing it and on to some of the stern show and then bed for me. enjoy the film tonight.
